Welcome to the (unofficial) website of the "Introduction to Computer Science in Python" course 2021-22! 

This is a course taught in the Software and Information Systems Engineering Department at Ben-Gurion University of the Negev, to students in their first semester. The course objectives are developing basic programming and algorithmic skills, and enabling using programming as a tool to solve “real world” problems.

Course material is open for any purpose under the cc-by license.

History: course was initiated using teaching material from (1) TAU's "Extended introduction to computer science", initiated by Benny Chor (RIP) and Rani Hod and (2) TAU's "Python programming for engineers", initiated by Noga Levy, Yoav Ram and Assaf Zaritsky".
